What’s the story?
We bring British-based artists and international collectors together in the virtual workspace
Each of our 100 artists has their own virtual homepage gallery, rotated monthly to keep it fresh
Artists’ studio pages are rotated every three months, with a maximum of 100 artists at any one time
Each homepage will be promoting the artists at work, a brief biography and chat from the artist, and up to 20 works for sale
We concentrate on quality and take the focused approach – less is more
Why join 100artists?
Easier to sell your art - It makes promoting and selling your art easy, while never having to leave your studio. You may well achieve a higher price than at local shows.
Collector focused - 100artists is promoted through all social media- Instagram, Facebook, Google and Tik-Tok with constant Search Engine Optimisation, so can deliver an extremely wide group of genuine buyers, often collectors who are likely to repeat purchases.

What we ask
We ask artists to commit to the 100artists community by submitting images of work for sale that can be offered elsewhere but to inform us as soon as a piece is sold.
A video shot on a smartphone around the studio is very helpful for collectors to ‘get to know’ artists, and a lot more persuasive than lots of thumbnail JPEGs.

How does 100artists work?
For each artist, we build a virtual studio/gallery. We show artists working in their own workspaces in a variety of settings – urban or rural – outside, workshop or studio – all with their unique personality and DNA that helps influence and craft the art made there.
Collectors can browse the homepage galleries saving and revisiting their favourites with exclusive just released alerts by artists encouraging repeat purchases with loyalty incentives.
When a sale is confirmed by secure online payment to 100artists the artist is given the buyer’s delivery details and then carefully packs and ships the art direct to the collector.
After a 14-day cooling off period, the artist receives the sale price less 35% commission.
Pricing is at the artists discretion (guided by us) and must include the cost of packing, shipping and any potential return cost, (which is unusual).
Why now?
The internet has transformed how art is purchased
Some online art portals represent thousands of artists - but how can collectors find the art that genuinely interests them?
It’s a leap of faith for a collector to commit to something they would normally touch and feel, in a gallery or in the artist’s workspace.
Many art portals offer artists a global commercial platform but how can they get the exposure their work deserves in such a crowded marketplace?
We want collectors to get to know and understand the artists, so while our audience is global, our artists are exclusively British.
We want to get the best return for the artist and deliver the highest quality art to collectors, typically achieving prices between £150 and £5,000.
